Obtaining your Ontario divorce certificate:

You must have the optional divorce certificate if you are getting married again. The easiest way to get one is by mail (slow) or in person* at the court office where your divorce was granted (very fast).

Save the form to your desktop before filling it out. Then open the form again from your desktop.
It will not save properly if you fill it out in the browser.

*Note: Some court offices, including Brampton, are telling people who show up in person that must prepare the draft certificate themselves. There is no legal basis for the court office to require this. They can print the certificate right from their computer. Ask for the supervisor if the counter clerk refuses to do this for you.
